Activating SIMs is easy with Globalgig. This guide will walk through the SIM activation process that you can use for all Globalgig SIMs.
From the Subscription Dashboard, click the Activate SIM Cards button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select the End User that the SIM will be linked to or used by.
Select the Data Plan that the SIM should be activated with.
Search for the SIM card’s PICCID from the list, the list can be filtered by typing a partial PICCID into the Search bar and can be any portion of the PICCID
Click to select the SIM, it so that it appears in the right-hand column. You can select multiple SIMs and each SIM will be assigned to its own subscription.
To remove a PICCID from the right-hand column, simply click the PICCID and it will be removed.
You will find the PICCID on the back of the SIM card carrier or on the back of the plug-in portion.
If your SIM card does not appear in the list, please contact your Client Account Manager.
If you are activating an AT&T SIM it is important that you enter the IMEI of the device that the SIM card will be inserted into.
Note that the IMEI must be manually entered here, currently the list of Devices to select from cannot be displayed here
Assign the Tags for the subscription, this is optional.
Your SIM(s) will be activated on receipt of the onscreen success message. You will need to configure the device with the appropriate APN setting.
